Can you get pregnant if your on the pill at he pulls out? I keep reading all of these pregnancy symptoms online and some of them I have, headaches, tiredness, and peeing alot. But I could be having the headaches cuase of not wearing my glasses, adn the tiredness becuase I simply cant sleep. Im young, and pregnancy is the last thing i want, so Im kinda scared, even though im not sure how possible it is that i am. How can you tell if your pregnant before your period (my periods supposed to be in 4 days)

The pill is NOT 100% effective which means yes, you CAN get pregnant even if you're on the pill. The doctor that prescribed it to you should've explained that. It's also taught in health class. Plus, I believe it's written on the box.

Well Im not pregnant, I just got my period. And the box says 1% chance, which im sure a LOT of girls over look becuase they have the whole "It'll never happen to me" attitude. But my doctor and ALOT of people I have asked in the past says it protects against pregnancy just not STD's so thats why I was curious as to what are the chances..thanks everybody for your imput!

Do u mean oral contraceptive pills? Even if u take it daily.. there is still probability for u to get pregnant.. i mean at least have that 1% chance. Go and buy home preganancy test kit and confirm first. The more you stress out, the later ur period come, the more u get worried. So, just calm down and do the test first. After all, maybe it just symptom that u're tired of something.

I know of several people who gotten pregnant on the pill. Some ladies require higher doses to keep from getting pregnant. I do know one person who has gotten pregnant twice on the pill. Oh, and they were two different kinds. So you can get pregnant and need to know it is a possibility.

It is deffinitely possible to get pregnant on the pill. I know, been there myself. If you think you are, take a pregnancy test. You can do it now, though it may not register as a positive just yet. If it is negative, and you don't get your period and you still feel as though you could be, take another test. If all else fails, go and have a blood test done. You are still a baby yourself, so I can understand why you would be frightened. You need to find a health care proffesional you trust, and talk to them about it. If you are still at school, maybe your school counsellours could help you.

"headaches, tiredness, and peeing alot." I had the same symptoms. I was diagnosed as hypertension. My dad had the same symptoms. He was diagnosed as a diabetic. My sister was pregnant twice and never had the dizziness or feeling tired. She didn't have headaches or had to pee a lot. Those are generic symptoms of pregnancy. Most of the time, women only get ill during the morning hours after a certain smell sets them off. Of course, some women have no symptoms and don't know they are pregnant until they start to gain weight. It's all up to the woman's body. Chances are you are not in a family way. If you take the pill on time every day and have not missed a dose and if you are not on any other medicines such as antibiotics then you should be fine.

That sounds more like diabetes than pregnancy to me.
