Would you support Government subsidies to large scale Farmers In The West?

We are aware that large scale farmers in America and the European Union enjoy Capital subsidies from their governments while in the rest of the world farmers use their own resources to produce and yet they take their products to the world market where prices dont favour farmers who dont enjoy susidies. Should Western countries continue offering these subsidies given the disavantages it poses to other farmers?
