can i learn web designing on my own

I have learned from Online Tutorials, it is limited but can help learn the basics. Sites like pagetutor.com, echoecho.com, webmonkey.com etc. will help.

you can find some cool ebooks from the net....but i prefer ready templates..

Some time you can learn from the website tutorial to lean that how can you design the website. Because some o the websites provide such kind of tours which can be easy for website designing. So try to use any free website designing so you can have some experience t design the website.

I do think you can learn by your own. I can make a simple website and host it somewhere. Try using Microsoft Frontpage and try testing everything, spend your time in it and you'll learn. Just do not expect the best website right from the start!

Yup for me, I think you can learn on your own. You were determined (thats a start!). You can buy books with any web designing tool you wish to learn. I myself, have experirenced self study during our time in Visual Basic. But now I don't have much time to study another language. So, I personally recommend self study for you if you have time.

i use photoshop tutorials , java menus , java script and php for my sites , where can i find good flash tutorials ?
