Can there be some middle ground between evolution and creationism. I really don't know why anyone can't believe in evolution! And now the Pope says that it can't be proved,so even he underestimates God. Think of this, can you explain what could be going on in his mind.Could he be trying to appeal to the majority by acting as an equivocator? There must be definitely be some common ground for Science AND religion..right??

There's definitely common ground between science and religion, just not macroevolution. Macroevolution in many ways is a religion itself. Take the mythical missing link for example. People accept and believe it exist by faith, not by any evidence that someone can produce.

Macroevolution is evolution from one species to an entirely new species such as a frog to a bird. Microevolution would be simply be for example an expansion of the different types of birds Macorevolution requires new genetic information to produce such a feat. Yet there's no way to evolve new genetic information. Microevolution relies on a scrambling of pre-existing genes. Breeders take advantage of this to produce different types of horses or different types of dogs. However, there's no way they're going to be able to produce a cat from a dog or an elephant from a horse. There's nothing "Special" about natural selection that it's going to do what artificial selection can't do. So what evolutionists will try and get people to believe by faith is that "time" "lots of time" is the solution. Just don't ask what's so special about time as there is no real science behind such a notion.

As soon as theory becomes more important than practice, someone keeps loosing power. Church has established its character and laws for a long time now and won't change them, so as the rest of the world does change, Church is being left behind. A lot of Catholics are turning into Evangelics in Brazil because it's more dynamic and more into daily life (=practice). Some religions do go together with science, like Kardec's religion, for instance. But it's an exception.

I'm not sure about the name in English, if I'd take it literally, it's called "Spiritism", but I'm not sure. You can do some research for "Allan Kardec". Many of the "religion"'s evolved a lot since he's from the 19th century. It's a great mix of religion, science and philosophy. It's not too heavy or too dense, unless you are into studying a LOT! =P
