Will there ever be a monkey island 5

I love the first four games, and throughout those games the characters talk about having a 5 game contract, so is there going to be a fifth monkey island anytime in the future?

i LOVED the first 4 games... none of the genre spinoffs achieved the same level of success. I remember being so annoyed whenever I got stuck at some point in the game cuz I couldn't piece two things together...
Anyway, yeah I heard rumors that the 5th Monkey Island was already in development, but slowly. I heard this last year, and if it's true, then they've been spending a LOT of time making the 5th. Maybe it'll be worth it... we'll see

I have never even heard of Monkey Island. Lol it sounds interesting though, especially to me since monkeys are one of my favorite animals! I'm surprised that it has 4 parts to it; usually games don't get that many parts...except for the Sims lol. Is this a pc game? I like pc games. Could you tell me more about what it is all about and if it is really fun and stuff? Is it challenging?
