Why Do You Think The Internet Is So Important?

I think the internet is important because it allows people to reach out and meet people on the other side of the world whom they would never have been able to meet without the internet. I think it's important for people to be able to expand their minds and learn new things on their own terms, not with the limited information available in research books. The internet offers a new kind of freedom that was unheard of before.

I used to think internet as a pain, normally I would surf to find information and that was it. I don't play games or entertainment, just work. But, now after I found mylot and finding out we can make more money online, I spend a lot of time on it. Mostly, it is important because of the info we can find, due to the lack of library where I'm at.

I keep in touch with old friends, meet new ones, pay my bills, shop online, earn a little bit of money, play online games, and get information since I love learning new things or finding out something I need to know. I'm also a news buff :)

the internet is not just important for each individuals personal uses, but also for our economy, business, communications, information from news, society, etc. One of our leaders is planning to spend a lot of money to upgrade our country's broadband system when he gets elected. I believe this will be very good for our country's economy - dramatically increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of doing business - integrating with our farmers who provide our food, the people who provide our services and countries overseas who we exchange resources with better. Without the internet people would only be able to communicate by phone or mail and that is slow and ineffective - i don't like talking on phones.

It's the cheapest way, coz I don't have to go to somewhere else to buy, to talk, or to check my account in the bank. If there is better than internet then I'll go for it. That's life.....things getting better and easier....to be happy.

I think the internet is important because of the amount of things you can do with it. keep in touch with family and friends, meet new people, playing games online, doing your shopping without having to go anywhere and the convenience of shopping when stores are closed is nice. Paying all your bills online. And of coarse i have to agree with you since we are all on here making money or trying to at least.

Internet is useful in many ways. I brings the world near us. It provides information about each and every thing. It takes time to send messages, pictures and other documents through courier, we can scan and send them through net. It is very helpful to wish people on time. It is a very important communication media

The internet is important to us because we use it everyday to do all kinds of things, we need it in some ways. The internet has perfected the text book search out, kids like to use it for book reports and other school projects. I use the computer to keep in touch with all my friends, and being in the military its very nice to do that. I think that if we didn't have the internet we would survive, but I don't think we'd be happy.

It's important to me because I can communicate with family and friends, play games, look up information, watch tv, chat on messenger, and just look around. There is always something to do online.

Internet is the greatest technology ever grated by man. it is so important that without internet our daily business will collapse and internet is a place where student do their research very easily with taking a long way. The internet is really really useful for me. I've gotten lots of information, i get to connect with my real-life friends all the time, AND i even get to make a lot of online friends. :) I've made a lot of acquaintances over the internet. :) And yes, I've also earned money through the net. I really can't enumerate all the uses of the internet, the space won't be enough. :))

Internet is for my personal enrichment, the infinite source of fresh knowledge. Internet is for my personal grooming, I get to interact with people across the globe and take corrective measures for personal improvement. Internet is my family friend : Helping to get goods/services within my budget. Internet is my personal assistant : Helps me in banking and ticket booking. I love the internet because it saves me time and really makes things more convienent for me. It definently saves me money because I pay all my bills online so I don't have to worry about stamps. I love being able to bank online because I can transfer money between my savings and checking accounts and avoid having to stand in long lines in the bank. You can also wait until the last possible moment to pay your bills by banking online. Internet banking also pays much higher interest rates on savings accounts & cd's than traditional banks. I also love to shop online. Many people are starting to pursue higher education online because it allows them the convience of being able to work full time and pursue their degree at the same time. Most importantly you can look up information much more quickly online. Unfortunently, I have become too dependent on having the internet. When our internet service went down one weekend I wasn't able to get anything accomplished. I also work for a bank processing checks and because more and more people are taking care of things electronically they are phasing out our department and people are losing their jobs. But overall I think that the internet helps to make our lives easier.

Hello vamisola, yes in my opinion i think Internet is very important nowadays. At first, i use internet to pay bills, use internet to search information, use internet to transfer business data and use internet to communicate with people.SO basically is no internet, then there is no life, not convenience at all.
