A crack in your windshield? Use clear nail polish!

Here is a good tip to use when you have a crack in your windshield. To stop the crack from spreading use a dab or two of clear nail polish. This works really well!

I never heard of this but it sounds interesting. Thank you for sharing. I will share one I learned about pantyhose and stockings, if you let them soak for a bit in a container of warm water with a tiny amount of fabric softener, or hair conditioner, it will remove the 'sizing' the manufator uses to give them that 'body'. this will cut down on the runs happening to them in the first place.

Future Floor Wax is a liquid acrylic. Do you think that might work as well...even better? I have heard of using nail polish to stop a run in stlckings, but hadn't heard about the windshield trick. Where did you learn it?

Hi sagemother. I don't know about Future Floor Wax. But we learned the trick about nail polish in Reader's digest magazine and we did try it and it works.
