Is your gay-dar working?

Are you the type of person who can spot if a certain stranger is gay or has the tendency to be gay? I have a lot of gay friends but I seem to not know if someone else is gay only because my gay friends are really "showy" of their true selves. They wear make-up, to say the least. A straight friend of mine, though, can tell if someone is gay or has the tendency to be gay. I don't know how he does it! I wonder how he can tell? What about you? How's your so-called gay-dar?

you have friends but you can't really tell if someone is gay?is that possible?lol anyway, i could say that my gay-dar is well and very much functioning. even if i just pass by someone i can sense if they are straight or not but of course gay-dars are not always 100% fool proof because some guys are just what we call "vain" or "effeminate", which means they are men but vain or have feminine qualities. so how can you spot a gay man? well make use of your friends. it's good to know the different types. there are those who are discreet and seems like just a very neat guy. there are those who are very out in the open and just have fun. and there are those who are very much out in the open that sometimes they are more beautiful than women. for sure you know your friends so you have a knowledge of how they act, speak and what they like. the things you have to look at are: the way they talk. -even if they try to hide it, their gay lingo or accent can be sometimes evident, especially when they are surprised or shocked. the way they walk. -if they walk like they are always in the runway always walking in a straightline with their hips swaying well start to wonder. the way they groom -if they are so particular with the way they look as in to the point that they look at themselves in every reflection they could see in the street. the way their hands move -observe how your friends hands move differently there. whatever form they come gays share those common traits. it's like how we girls are similar yet different. they have that distinct way of doing simple things like holding a cup that is different from the way girls/ guys hold a cup. good luck on your gay-dar;)

I think for the most part it's easy to tell, however I have been wrong before. Most gay people when around someone that would like to let know they are gay, act more like women then women do. (No Disrespect)
