Make-up --- expert, magazine or just your own personal choice? Whenever you buy make-up, do you consult a magazine, an expert or just rely on your own personal choice/style? There are ladies who tend to buy what they see on magazines (editor's choices or featured products) and there are also ladies who tend to consult the in-house make-up experts. What about you?

When it comes to makeup, I used to buy what looked nice to me and what was new, but sometimes I found that I was wasting my money. Now if I need some makeup, I would go to the forums and see the reviews and the comments on the items are before buying. I sometimes believe what the beauty experts say too if I find them convincing. But I don't rely on magazines and the beauty experts too much because after all, they are there to boost the sales of the products. I believe in the consumers' honest opinions more and after I have developed this habit, I find myself actually saving money (buying less and more useful things).

I usually go to the mall and go to Neiman Marcus and have their beauty expert tell me what is the best thing to use. I love Lancome Products so I have a make-over session. I find it the best way to do because they can tell you the products that will look good on your skin and how to apply it properly. Usually, I just asked what to use and how to apply daytime make-up coz usually am just at home. I am very satisfied with consulting the expert but one thing am just so careful about is to overdo my purchases because I know by the time they will finish with you, you will be buying plenty and spending so much money. All I really need is the foundation, powder, blush, lipstick and gloss. Good for daytime and natural look.
