Should Visa for visiting a country be abolished?

We have created barriers in traveling to countries,people just leave this earth without having a proper glimpse of it,this is all due to countries imposing strict visa regulations,now my wish is to visit U.S.A,but the chances are very remote in getting a visa,so many people are refused,should not this rule be changed and a universal travel document be issued to every verified citizen.

If we let in every individual, we will be allowing a lot of the wrong people in.
