Free downloadable Chess game?

Can anyone please let me know where can I download free chess game? I've searched through Google and found only trial version.

You can find the chess game under boardgames at: caiman free games. Sometimes these games don't come with an installer, but you can use winzip or whatever. Take care Handana76.

you could always download chess games using torrents, that way you could get the full version of the game and you could the nice chess games..

trial versions only will be available in such search engines. you have to pay for that
