is taking RHCE a best idea?

I am new to linux platform I want ot be competitive. Is taking RHCE a nice idea? what are the advantages of having that certification?

When you are linux certified like having RHCE, it just means you know your way around in linux administration. Companies will very much prefer hiring administrators with this certification than those without it.

yes, of course taking RHCE is good.
Red Hat is one of the first and most famous companies in linux world and their RHEL is most widely used in enterprises.
so to prove your knowledge in Linux, you can take RHCE exam.
as most of RHCE part is lab based, there is no doubt on one's skills
