my daughter is 3 years old . she is interested in studies and likes to learn , but is hot headed and does not like to share anything with anybody . at times she becomes rigid in her stance and does not listen to anybody .should i be strict with her and try to change her attitude towards life or should give her time . personally i don't believe in the theory of the stick . i think i should first give her time to adjust and try to talk to her about the goods and bads of life .

She needs to learn to share things with others. The sooner you try, the better as the longer you leave it the harder it will be to do it. I do not believe in hitting a child etc. There are other ways of getting them to do stuff. Sit down and talk to her, explain it's nice to share and to have other people to play with her and enjoy the things too. My son is 20months old and we are teaching him to share things now when he is aorund other people especially children.

Oh oh, no no, now is the time to teach her that it is good to share. Se will be entering school pretty soon, and it will be good that he has this as a good habit. Otherwise she might have some situations at school. Don't let it go please.
