I sadly admit that I've never won one in my life, even though at stages I've been an avid enter-er. This may sound silly, but to all those winners out there, what type of competitions are good to enter? If you've won a few, have you found anything that helps, or is it completely luck?

My only win was answering quiz and I get some money from it..LOL. But I think allyou have to do is trying to enter competitions that you felt you want to do. Don't enter competition that you know you will not win. Like me, I will not enter singing or dance competitions. I just can't do both. After you entered, all you had to do is showing your best performance. Win or lose, well, that's just a prize. At least, you showed up and you give your all best performance.

I don't think it is important in one's life to win in a competition. I have won a few but lost a lot of times. I won in a Quiz Bee competition back when I was in 5th grade. The quiz show is about electricity. I have been joining Speech contest every year back when I was in High School. Name it all, Extemporeneous Speech contest, Declamation, Story Telling, and others I can't even remember. I have a place during those competitions but I never won the first place. But actually that doesn't matter to me.
