rampant corruption in india

The corruption in public life in our country is increasing day by day and it is now becoming very difficult for the common people to live in. In all the State and Central Govt. offices, if one has to get the work done, he has to pay alms from the top to bottom as otherwise the person has to make repeated visits to the office concerned without any result. In fact there is no fear at all in the minds of the officials because it is not so easy for the ordinary man to prove the corruption in front of others and moreover, nobody will come forward for his rescue. What is most commonly seenthat even when everybody know that the ticket collector in a train is taking extra money for alloting a berth, nobody dare to say anything even though it is openly happening. Even it has escaped the attention of the so called private T.V.channels taking direct picturisation of such incidences due to which they are doing their duties very safely. Even if at all one is caught for publicity, what would happen to him? Simply he is suspended for 10 to 15 days and let off to join back as winning politician. In order to prevent corruption, the Governments have constituted many ANTI CORRUPTION cells but these cells have also become ineffective; rather they are also joining hands with the very people. What I want to say is that if some private agency for ANTI CORRUPTION cosisting of leading retired civil and criminal layers/judges who does not have any political affiliation is formed, it will mitigate the suffering of the general public to a great extent. Whenever any common man approaches this cell with any sort of complaint against corruption in Govt. office, they must use their authority to catchhold the culprit for punishment. This should also apply in the case of our politicians. However, these cells should be established at every district and sub-district headquarters and gradually expanded to other areas also where more govt. offices are located. The expenses of the above agency should be borne by the Central/State Govts. In the end I am doubtful, whether such private agency will be given recognition and allowed by the present rulers?
