please help me to quit!

I am 22 years olod know,i am start smoking when i was 16 years old but know i want to quit, i try so hard but i still smoke the cigar until know.I try a candy when i need to smoke but is not work.Can some one help me to tottaly not smoke anymore?

I'm a smoker, but not a chain smoker. at this moment i consume a max of 5 sticks a day. for me it's a good sign coz before, i always finish one packet in 1 & half days. So i told myself i want to control and to stop smokin.... like what others says, you can't stop it in one day. but try to lessen the number of stick your smokin. little by little you will never notice your almost near to success of smoke quiting. before, whenever i smell somebody's smokin i would like to smoke too. but now im starting to hate the smoke from other people. just try your best to lessen it and sooner or later, you already quit...

of course you will! If you are really into quiting nothings else can stop you from doing em... guess what after a month im down to 4 stick... you can do it!!!! good luck

I know how difficult for you to try not to smoke since ive met a lot of people who are likfe you as well. i am in the medical field thats why i know how smoking can kill a person little by little. its good though that you wanted to stop but it will take you a long time to do it. you really needs to have a motivation and you should be consistent to what you want to do but dont stop ubruptly because you might be experiencing the withdrawal symptoms of smoking. what you need to do is just decrease the amount of sticks everyday and as you continue doing it, time will come that you will not be needing it anymore. just be patient coz you still have hope.

i have friends who already quit. They did it gradually. You can try that way. You just allow yourself to smoke 3 sticks for a day and then gradually lessen it until you can go on without smoking.

hm you must switch ur habits by doing lots of activity or you can switch by chewing gum..

There are many rehabilition center for helping to get rid of these habits. Try them and make a great change in your life.
