As long as it's made from whole milk it should be fine, I think my pediatrician said it's good to start around nine months.

My son is a bit older, but he usually has it everyday and he's fine. There's some healthy bacteria in yogurt, it's good for their digestive systems.

We give my granddaughter yogurt almost every day. It is important that it is full fat yogurt and it is not sweetened with honey. I shop at the super walmart and they have one that has a mixture of flavours and it is noted on the pack it is for kids. This is the one I buy Danino is a good source of calcium and a source of vitamin D; each serving of 100 g contains 4 g of protein. In addition, Danino includes DHA, an essential omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to the normal development of the brain, the eyes and the nerves. Danino from Danone is available in four nourishing flavours and in 4x100 g or 8x100 g multi-pack. I buy it because of the DHA.

My boys are 3 and 5 and they eat yogurt all the time. I buy the gogurts {yogurt in a tube} and freeze them. Then they dont make a mess and it good for them. Just watch smaller children so they dont choke.
