Google to save Web History on its servers!

Google is trying to introduce a feature that saves all the history of the web pages you have visited on its servers for easy access at a later time. For this purpose they made a deal with another company. But they obtain the permission of the user before saving the history. Do you think it is an invasion on your privacy?
