How to shrink jeans

I just got a pair of Antik Jeans in a 25 but i'm a 24 in butt and leg, but in the waist i fit in a 25... but i got a 25 and they just don't fit me like i would want them to... i don't want to return them because they are really cute and the 24 waist doesn't fit... so i was wondering how to shrink them...

Maybe you could just eat a bunch of cake or something and grow your body to fit the jeans.

You can wash them in very hot water then dry them on the highest heat setting. However, once you wash them you probably can't return them. If they don't shrink enough, your stuck! Are they 100% cotton? If not, they won't really shrink.
