We decided to go with a non gluten, non rendered animal fat pet food so that Zoey has the best chance at great nutrition. What do you guys recommend. She doesn't seem to like the Castor and Pollox stuff, so I'm up for ideas. It needs to be food that can be bought locally. I can't pay ten bucks for shipping.

I feed my pug (6 months old) Eukanuba Small Breed/Petite Race puppy food. This is great because it is gluten-free and also is primarily composed of protein from chicken, fish, lamb, and eggs rather than corn meal and other vegetable products that lack efficient nutrients. Before trying Eukanuba, I fed her Beneful (made mostly of vegetable derived ingredients). This made her go to the bathroom a lot and stayed very small in size. After switching, she needs to go a lot less and has grown a lot stronger while keeping her smooth coat. If you visit their website (http://us.eukanuba.com), you can read additional information. I hope this helps!

That article was published five years ago on a biased website, but I guess I wouldn't be surprised if that is still happening since people are crazy. Have you tried the natural dog foods at PetSmart (Nature's Best, Nature's recipe)? I might consider buying those if they are any good.
