Hi friends many of you have relished the books written by Sidney Sheldon, the likes of Bloodline, master of the Game, windmills of God, etc. But as you know he died on 30/01/07. This means that we would not now be able to read novels full of mystery and suspense that were written by him. He was really the "Master of this game". What are your views on this great loss.

Indeed, this is a great loss. But Sheldon has contributed a lot to literature especially in this genre, and I think has inspired other novelists with the style of writing shown in Sheldon's works.

This was a very big shock to my mother and I when we heard this news. He was a very good author. My mom collects his books and almost has them all. He will be missed a lot and remembered greatly by all.

Ya sure he will be remembered. Even I have most of his book and keep re-reading them. Each and evry time I read any of his book it feels as interesting as it always was. we are surely going to miss him.

It is indeed a great loss to the literary industry when Sheldon passed away. But take heart, he has left behind a large legacy. I have several of his books and borrow from my sister the ones I don't have. I will always remember how I used to wait each week, as a little girl, for the show Hart to Hart to be aired. That tv show has that Sheldon stamp of great plots and characters. He will sorely be missed ...

What?! I had no idea. I first got into his novels when my aunt let me borrow so many of her books one summer and Sheldon really caught my attention. It really is agreat loss. Now I have to ask my aunt if she knew about this... I hope he didn't leave behind an unfinished novel, that would be horrible! Thanks a lot for posting this.
