First of all , remember that it is a yard sale and people like to pick up things for 25 cents and 50 cents. I tend to price very low. I figure I just want it gone! Make it look very organized and make sure everything is clean. Hand the clothes and put them all together on racks. Put kitchen stuff on one table, toys on another, jewlery on another ect. If you have a child, have him sell lemonade, because people stop for lemonade stands. Also, make a ton of colorful signs. Write things like "Must see yard sale" "Quality Yard Sale" "Everything must go sale". Post the signs all over town, not just by your house. People who go garage saling look for great sales all over town. They tend to drive by the ones that look like junk. good luck

Price it a little higher than you really want to sell it for and when people stop to look and ask come down to where you wanted to sell it for in the first place and then they think they are getting a good deal.
