Vacation Bible School Anyone?

Ever worked a vacation bible school session? I'm planning on doing the music and arts and crafts section this summer! Share your story!

I've volunteered for VBS at my former church for a few years and I totally loved it. I didn't get to participate in it last year, but I'm volunteering again this year. I missed it and felt a little out of place not volunteering last year. (Last year is also when I switched churches..) I've never worked in anyone section of the day camp, I was a teacher's helper, so I got to see what was going on in all the various activities. Sounds like you're excited about doing the music and arts and crafts section; that's great. You're totally going to have a blast!

I'm a little nervous as I'll have to do both things at the same time. Ours is going to be from 7-9 at night which doesn't leave alot of time. I am very excited about the arts and crafts but the music has me concerned. We have someone better suited for that but we are a tiny church and we need her as a teacher.
