Parents are too protective! Do you agree?

I agree with you. Parents now a days are very strict to their children, every time their children wants to go out the house and breathe some fresh air outside they would not allow them because they always think that bad things could happen to their children or they would always think of negative things like their children being kidnapped, raped, stabbed, hit by a car, got snatched and many things more. In my elementary days my teacher announced in the class that we would be having a workshop and we have to ask permission to our parents before we could join the workshop. I ask permission to my parents politely and they said yes but in my high school days they wouldn't allow me to participate in any school activities that needs to sleep in the school. i really hated them for that but I realized that my parents doesn't want me to be in trouble.
