smartphones running on Windows will soon turn into virtual BlackBerries and the users will have the best of the both worlds: the ease and comfort of working seamlessly from the desktop to mobile environment in Windows and the functionality of best-in-the-class push services from BlackBerry. RIM plans to offer the software for a number of devices running Windows Mobile 6.0. Once installed, it will provide users with access to BlackBerry applications like its e-mail, phone, calendar, address book, instant messages and other functions. The devices will be offered through a number of US carriers to begin with in the coming months. The software will appear as an icon on the screen and will have the same interface as a BlackBerry. With so much technology out there it's ahrd to say. Often we see so many new trends then they start to converge, it is interesting to see though. I'd definately give it a try though I have such a hectic schedule most days could help me out alot.
