I hadnt heard about this. Thank goodness the boy is okay. They should have never let a kid on the sidelines in the first place. There are seats there for a reason. If you have kids day invite them on field before or after the game not during it.

Well to me it is the parents fault for not looking after there child. It is in noway the football players fault and the parents of that child should feel real aweful.for it is all there fault, that the child had to get stitches and was that close to the players it is just sad that i am sure they will try to blame it on someone else cause of there neglect.

I was wondering that also. But my Mom was telling me on the phone this morning that she thought she had heard this one some kind of childrens day or something like that? Not sure though. I am so glad that he was alright because it could have been so much worse.

ive seen this news in cnn earlier,i was wondering myself why nobody seems to be taking care of the little boy he shouldn't be on that field in the first place, thats just stupid for the parents or who ever looking after him to let him out there.

I saw that on the news last night and it hurt me so bad I had to investigate and get the full story. The little boy was 4 yrs old and part of a promotion to let kids on the sidelines. Like at MLB baseball games where they let kids run the bases afterwards, or NBA letting kids on the court to run around after games. But this was during a spring practice game. No idea why they did it during the game. College sideline areas are really quite small, and there's a lot going on. The little boy is ok. He got one stitch in his forehead and was treated on the scene by the team medical people. I'm sure someone will be getting in trouble for allowing this to happen, and it'll never happen again. Poor little boy though!

I seen and heard about this on the news also. From what I heard they sometimes let the families be by the side lines during the spring pratacies. However I don't think that is a good idea as you can see from what happened,it could have been alot worse and we have yet to find out if the boy will have any lasting effects from this.
