I think to have a 100% protection on my system because I am using: -Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 with monitoring active in system tray: it protects me from viruses, trojans, email viruses, worms, and many rootkits too! -I am using Jetico Firewall (it's free the version 1.0 and it works perfectly) so when I surf all XP doors are closed and I surf in stealth mode. No worms can install silently and if I get something strange that wants to connect to some strange sites I see it and I can deny it. It helps me to diagnose if my system is running clean or I have some spyware or suspicious process that wants to send data through the net. -I am using a secure browser: Mozilla Firefox 2.0 -I use Spybot Search & Destroy, Adaware and other antispywares. -I always keep Windows XP updated with all security patches. This is the best to surf without problems of viruses or spywares!

you should install a anti-virus software on your pc that has also the spyware remover. and once you have this you should always see to it that your anti-virus is up to date its signatures and build. in this way you can be safe from viruses and spywares from the net whenever youre browsing. if youre wondering where you can get this, you can either buy it or try the trial versions found on various anti virus software developers site. if you dont know what anti-virus software to use, i can suggest mcafee or norton symantec. i hope this helps. ^.^
