becoming gay or lesbian!

Are you one of those who is also confused?they say it is genetic, acquired or a choice. Which do u prefer as an answer? but then at end of it all if you just reflect at yourself you will know the answer right inside of you and will you be able to stand beside your choice. Its a complicated world that we live in. Life oh life.

Being gay or lesbian is about as much choice as being born black, white, yellow or red or even being either male or female. Sure some people including people in churches ands higher education will tell you that is is a choice but they tell you a lot of other things that are not true also. The Great Creator created all of us , so why would he/she create someone that he/she did not love.

I don't exactly know what causes one to become gay or lesbian but I think whatever it is must be some psychological problem. Since I am a straight guy, I guess it is abnormal from my point of view but others have a right to differ on that. However, there has been a lot debate over the causes of homosexuality and it is believed that homosexuality can be determined by the genes at conception and it can also be caused by one's environment in the early childhood. According to our Psychology professor way back in college, being lesbian or gay is not really inherited but acquired. It is something we learned from our environment. From people around us who are also lesbian or gay. We are being influenced by them. It is contagious. So, when you become a lesbian or a gay, someone or perhaps a lot of peole in your environment influenced you because they are one also.

I believe it's part genetic, part environment. Regardless, it's not a choice. I'm bi btw.
