Politicians, do we still believe in them?

Yes, that is a very big question! Do we still believe in their sincerity, promises and integrity? Election time, how much do national candidates spend for their campaign? Millions! And how much do they earn during their term if they get elected? Can that suffice the amount of money they have used for their campaign? It's a thought that I've been weighing for days now...Honestly I don't know if I would still believe in any politician nowadays... I don't mean to offend anyone here with this post. I just want to get the point of views of the people here in mylot regarding this subject which i think is very timely. How secure how are we as citizens that these people are not gonna get their money back if they get elected? We know that most of them are spending more than their salary to be if ever they'll win. :)
