Are you using GENIUNE WINDOWS copy?

Yep, It came on my new computer. I have had it about a year now. It is Windows XP service pack 2

for me as a PC technician using a geniune microsoft products has a big advantage to the user not only gives u free updates but also makes ur pc error free...........

My old desktop computer is running a bootlegged version of Windows Xp Corporate edition. It has service pack 2 installed in it, but I can't update it via windows update, so it has tons of security holes in it. The laptop that I'm using right now has Windows Xp Pro. installed in it and its legitimate. I've been using this laptop for about 2 years now and I've been using my old desktop since the year 2000, so its REALLY REALLY old and slow.

Using a genuine one as trying to keep your computer up to date with updates just isn't worth the hassle with a copy of windows.
