Hi All, Space travel is know to make bones brittle. Since gravity is only 1/6 the bones dont get enough weight to built strength and density. So if the person returns back to earth the extra gravity pull causes issues. Ash

Of course in order to get bone issues the person to live in space for a very long time. Since only adults go to space this is not much an issue because the bones have already developed enough density on Earth before the person goes to space. The problem would occur to children who are growing and are exposed to insufficient gravity pull over an extended period of time. Ash

It's proven that it attacks our bones. They lose lots of calcium, and there are other side effects. But well that's only dangerous for long exposures.
