AC Milan didn't start brightly in the match, failed to mark Cristiano Ronaldo and he scored the opener as early as 5th minutes of open play. But unlike Roma, AC Milan didn't panic. Largely due to their European experience, they kept their composure and manage to control the game. Kaka even scored twice and overshadowed Ronaldo. However, Paola Maldini was injured & replaced by Bonera. Things even went south for AC Milan as Gattuso was replaced by Brocchi. Man Utd cleverly making full use of the situation to level the score to 2-2 with great Rooney goal. Man Utd continued dominating the match, Gilardino was dissappointing and replaced by Gourcuff, but it was too late. Things weren't great for AC Milan as Rooney bagged his 2nd goal of the night to bring hope for the Red Devils at San Siro next week. Looking at the bright side, AC Milan have 2 away goals to take back at San Siro. Paolo Maldini remains an injury doubt although Gattuso may recover in time. Forza Milan!
