Is Portgas D' Ace Dead?

Portgas D' Ace is the older brother of luffy. He is a member of the Whitebeard pirates and his goal is to kill blackbeard (marshall D. Teach). When Blackbeard is trying to catch with luffy, Ace was able to engaged battle with the blackbeard pirates. Ace battled against Balckbeard using both their devil fruit power. What happens next? Are they both dead?

this is an old discussion but by know you probably all know that [SPOILER NEXT] Ace was captured and will be executed that's all i'm saying!

i thing he will defeat black beard pirates. ace is a strong boy. and he is a good boy. like his brother, he is crazy and many of ates.
