Problems with my Gmail account

I used yahoo for many years and I am satisfied with it. Recently I created an account on gmail (google email account)and I have been experiencing problems with it regularly. I get this messages like "We’re sorry, but your Gmail account is currently experiencing errors. You won’t be able to log in while these errors last, but don’t worry, your account data and messages are safe...". Of course after some time everything is back to normal but this is frustrating. I signed up to gmail because some of my friends say it's the best. Now I don't think they are right. Do you have an account with gmail? What do you think about their service?

Thank you ashkar. I see that all of you have no problems with it. I would think now that I had the bad luck to check ouot my emails exactly at times when they do their maintenance or updating? Thanks!

i used to have problems with my Gmail as well but most of the time I can resolve my problems by clearing up my internet browser cache. Once I have cleared that uot and re logging to Gmail, the problems would disappear by themselves. However, I am only experiencing those problems once in a blue moon. Otherwise, Gmail, is much better than Yahoo mail.

Yes I agree. What I found out about gmail and that I like a lot is the fact that they never close your account for inactivity. That's not the same with Yahoo and I think you need to open your account at least once every two months otherwise your account is deleted.

i have been using gmail for more than a year now and i also have several accounts here but i never experienced anything like that. there are times when i have problems but the error is usually on my net work and not in gmail itself. i guess you will have to report that to gmail so that you can find direct answers to it.

i have a somewhat similar opinion. i prefer gmail for its huge capacity they don't delete mails/inactivate account as a result of inactivity for long as some other services do.

This is good to know. Yes yahoo does close your account if you are inactive for some time and I don't like that. This is a very good point for gmail.

It really seems strange when i hear such a problem with gmail, since i have a gmail account for a long time and i have never ever come across such a problem, moreover i feel its is safe and secure when compared to yahoo since i recieve a number of spam email in my yahoo account than in my gmail account.

Wow I have never had that problem at all. I have used gmail since it was invite only. I love using gmail & have found I will use it more than my email with my ISP for the main reason I never have to delete my emails.

Thank you for your answer. I am new with Gmail and the message I wrote I made a copy and paste from the error page. Everything went back to normal but this is the third or more times that I get this kind of error and I thought this is frequent. Okay good to know that some other people don't have this problem.
