New packaging of local cigarettes here in the Philippines has a big mark (less than half of the front side of the package) in bold letters "GOVERNMENT WARNING, CIGARETTE SMOKING IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH".
Just a thought- if it is so, why not government BAN cigarette?
We all know that cigarettes harm most of our organs. We are educated and warned about the harm it would bring us, why not we abstain from it? Perhaps you would say that once we tried it and get use to it, its a lil difficult to get away from it. So it means cigarette is ADDICTIVE. As time goes by we get to have more of it. Just for everyones health, is it just right for cigarette to be banned. Please share your thought.:)

The common observation is that when something is banned, people who want to do it badly still continue to do it. But since its not officially available illegal ways are used to obtain it and more than 10 times the regular money is paid for it. It gives birth to another chain of crimes and hence its right to keep it available and keep promoting about its bad effects.
