A friend of mine says "oh my god" a lot and I find his tone sometimes funny, sometimes astonished. Do you say "oh my god" a lot? What kind of situations would you use the phrase?

I seldom say "Oh My God", even though I think it's quite a funny phrase. Maybe because I don't believe in god, so I don't say OMG! lol! because I'm not sure which god am I referring to when I say that phrase. So usually, I would just say "Oh!" or "What?" to express my surprise!

I do say 'Oh my God' a lot! The phrase does not usually have any specific use, but I guess I usually say it when I'm stumped. The situation could be anything, it could be really funny, or surprising, or shocking, or even wierd. It is just something I say when I feel anything intensely.
