i can say that i earn significantly lower now than in my previous jobs. i have, however, had the luck of always having a great set of friends in the company. these people are my only reason for still waking up at 5am in the morning. they are also the reason why i have stayed more than a year in all the companies i have worked for. i believe when the workplace starts becoming a pain, when i start finding excuses to go to work, when i don't feel like getting up on a weekday no matter how high the pay is, it's time to quit. why? because i only feel that way when i don't like being with the people at work.
