How do you relax after a hard day?

When you're home after a tiring day at office, how do you calm your nerves? Is it a drink, or a party? Or do you just sleep or spend time with your family? I have to travel more than an hour to get home everyday and most of the year, it is dark by the time I get home. I have to cook dinner once I'm home! What do you do when you need to pep yourself up quickly?

Travel an hour and then come home to cook, whew! Maybe you could ask a family member to give you a quick shoulder massage, and then go drink a glass of lemonade - always works wonders for me! Sleeping is also something that I find very relaxing. If I have the time, I hop into the shower.

After a hard day at work I prefer listening to some relaxing music, but after shower I feel much better. I watch TV or I read something.

i do my relaxation at home, after coming home, i will drink a glass of ice cold water... watch tv with my legs up on the sofa, or sometimes, i will just lie down in bed and just do nothing, stare at the ceiling, that relaxes me too... :)

After a whole day fo stress, I usually relax thru watching my favorite tv series "Jumong". The story makes me feel better everyday. I never miss an episode to watch. This what makes my day better and relax.

I myself usually have a hard time relaxing, but since you asked, I think that at the end of a stressful day I usually like to settle in with a cup of decaffeinated coffee and maybe a light snack before bed time. Sometimes there is a good comedy to watch on television. On the other hand, you do ask how I would pep myself up. I would probably change into different clothes, maybe take a walk around the block.

It's very hot here in my country because of the summer season. I attend school every morning and my house is about and hour from school. After school, I try to get some sleep before telecommuting. I write articles for websites so the rest of the day is devoted to sitting in front of the laptop, back and neck aching, fingers numb, and sweating profusely. Way beyond midnight I finally get out of my computer chair and retire for the night. So basically all I do to relax is sleep. I wish I can get a massage but since I live alone I can't ask anyone to massage me, and I can't afford to go to the spa right now. Oh well.

I just watch television and eat my favorite food. If i want to keep my self out of stress and feeling tired. Then if i have something to do or i need to cook first, i eat my chocolate while doing it.

When I get home from hard days work I get into a very cozy chair, switch on the radio and relax my self for about 20 - 30 minutes. Then I get on to the work that i have to attend to fo rthe day, i.e cooking cleaning washing etc.. This will really help you to relax.. I have experienced it why dont you???
