Here is what I do. Frist I take a few deep breaths and try and relax. Then I try and think of happy things or good things and then I pray about it. With those three things I stay calm.

What I do is take several deep breaths and tell myself there is nothing that I cannot do or face so long as I have faith in myself and Christ by my side. It really helps me. Granted, if you don't believe in Christ, you can always say your god in place of Christ. :) I just try to be myself. If people don't like me, then they don't like me. No big deal.

I am actually a trainer with my job, and I am almost always infront of a big group of people. Actually before I got this position I was probably one of the most shy people what you could meet LOL. I found that for me it makes things easier if I "play a role" like an actor. Usually if I think confidently in myself that is how I come off. The important thing is just to realize that you are the one with the information that is needed, and you would have never recieved the position if it was not for someone believing in you abilities. Of course when i go home Im still a little quiet, but it all comes down to the person that you want others to see. For me it is an energetic, friendly, outspoken trainer at a call center.
