partners having secret affairs

what will be ur reaction if your partner opens up and told you that he or she has been having an affair with someone else. will you leave him or her or forgive him or her and still be with him or her. i read in a magazine that a man told his wife that he has been in a secret affair, hoping that the wife will leave him, instead the wife told him that she loves him and wont leave him. what do you think will make someone to do such a thing. love, protecting the marriage, fear of losing the man or ?

I would pack my stuff and be history within a few hours. There is never a good reason or a need to cheat. You stand before God and witnesses and promise to be faithful and you darn well better be.
