What's the biggest amount of money that you've lost?

Lost not due to gambling or scams but the money that you actually lost through carelessness like misplacing it or if the money accidentally fell from your wallet or pocket? I've once lost 500 pesos, about 10 dollars and I think it fell out of my wallet when I was looking for a smaller bill. Just this morning, my sister lost around 2500 pesos ($50) because she forgot where she put it! Now she doesn't know if it's inside the house or if she misplaced it someplace else. So, what's the biggest amount that you've lost?

I have never really lost money before. I have been scared that I had lost $100 once. I had a bunch of papers and other paper money in my pocker at the time. The hundred got mixed up with the other stuff so I had thought I had lost it some where when along it was just tucked into my bank card holder. Was I glad.

The most I have ever lost was about 50.00. It was in my wallet at one store and not there at the next. It must have fallen out while I was paying for my groceries. That was all the money I had for the rest of that week to so it was pretty devastating at the time. I once found a 20.00 bill on the sidewalk.

Well I was careless once and left my wallet next to the drink despensing machine at a local restuarant. I had about $35 dollars in it. Once I realized I had lost it, I called and cancelled the credit cards. the next day I got a call from someone saying they found my wallet by a dumpster, so I went to claim it from them and everything was there except the cash. I was lucky and I thought $35 was a good price to pay for that lesson.

ive lost 15 thousand pesos last month. i left it in the taxi too bad the taxi driver never return it to me. :(

I did not lost money by carelessness.......I dont remember.....But i Lost money in my business......
can u consider this as carelessness.......It was a good amount........

Well, if were kinda negligent in managing your business,then it could be considered negligence. Otherwise, if it's just in the natural course of business, then no.

i dont gamble, so losing money in gambling will not be possibe for me.. however, i have lost money too to people who dont pay back, and sometimes leaving my wallet or things in school back then, biggest amt was i think 500-1000 pesos. but im glad its just money i lost. we can still earn it.

The biggest sum that i have lost in a single day is through online share trading,(Intra day) by about, 3200 Rupees. But i have gained some a few days back. so i never felt for the loss that i had.
