The Inner Voice .. Qualms Of Conscience

I was in standard eleven in school when I had lied to a friend about something just because I thought the truth would have hurt her and that bothered me.Last year we talked after about seven years and I got asked the same question.One week after that I couldn't take the guilt and called her up to confess.The conscience bite went away only after I had confessed.We spoke after 15 days of my confession,but at least that didn't break my friendship and I am sure hurt her less.However,in hindsight I don't know if I would change anything about it because at that stage I wouldn't have liked to hurt her.

When I was very young, I did a little shoplifting because I was curious to see if I could get away with it, and the other kids in my neighborhood did it and it seemed like fun. It was just something small, but I was scared I would get caught, and I felt bad about it later. I guess that was my conscience talking to me, I never did it again.

that inner voice is the voice of the holy spirit !
