What to do for a head cold

What can you do for a head cold? How can you lesson the symptoms of it? Is there anything that i can do? I have been drinking lots of water and had hot soup for lunch. I have been taking otc cold medicine and this is helping me a bit.

get some pure white vinegar and boil it in a pot of water, someone once told me to do this, and it's worked like a dream since, just boil it dry.

You poor thing! Have you tried drinking hot green tea? Also Zicam can really help shorten a cold. Airborn can help to prevent colds but I have taken that while having a cold and I felt like it helped me. Also a coolmist humidifier will help. I hope you feel better soon!
