How will I manage??

My husband is leaving for Iraq in August for 15 months. This is my first deployement experience. I will be going back to our home in GA to stay with his mom. Fifteen months in a long time, and I just dont know if I am going to be able to handle it. What are some ways that I can make the times go faster. My 3-yr old will be starting school, too, and i was thinking of going back to school and by the time he came back, I would have a little over a year out of the way. What would you do if you were in this situation?

First of all, thanks to you and your family for the sacrafices you are making. I would definitely find something to keep yourself busy. It could be school or some volunteer work or even a hobby. Be sure to keep in as good of touch as possible with your husband and before you know it, he will be back home with you and the family. Best wishes!!
