I've always enjoyed playing cards, Me and my buddy been playing poker on the weekends for awhile. Actually i can remember being 8 years old playing poker with a friend for crayons, pencil crayons and markers for our money lol But once i realized i could play it on the computer i checked it out and been playing daily every since well not everyday but most days.It's pretty addicting.

I started playing poker after seeing the World Poker Tour on tv and finding out about online poker rooms. And now I play 'real' free poker with the Australian Poker League. It's fun to do.

I started playing poker online because I wanted to learn, and the free rooms were a great place to learn the basics of the game. Although it is very VERY different playing for free and for money, the free play games really helped me just to learn the basics. I liked learning online because you could gradually start playing higher stakes - starting from .01/.02 . It really helped me to gain the confidence that I needed for live games.

I've played poker for 30 some odd year but one day a couple years back I was foolin round on the net and just typed poker in . Low and behold it was the beginning of my online play . I must say that I have never had to use my own funds and have done ok online , tho I do miss the friday nights games that me and the boys use to have....
