Papaya! It is a wonderful fruit, and especially excellent for the skin, whether taken internally or applied externally. I like the firm type of papaya - the one which is reddish, and not the orange, soft variety of papayas.

I like the orange one much better, the red one stinks. we have papaya plantation (the red ones) and I don't like it, my father said that it is for cocktails.

Papaya is a common fruit in tropical countries like those in Asia. In my area papaya trees can be found almost in every house. Papaya is a plant with non-woody stem and the height of the matured plant is between 5 to 10 feet. The tree bears plenty of fruits all year round. The unripe fruit is green in color and yellowish when it is ripen. Normally the fruit is plucked when it turns slightly yellow as it might be eaten by birds when it becomes totally ripen in the tree. Papaya is very nutritious as it contains lots of calcium and it’s good for relaxing the bowels. It’s propagated with seeds.

I think this is a type of tropical fruit. As long as the plant is given a warm and tropical climate to live in, I think it would grow. It's quite nice and sweet and juicy. I like papaya juice. Also, I heard that unripe papaya can be used on meat as it has natural tenderizing properties. Wonder if anyone has tried that?

I know what Papaya is,you can do many things w/ Papaya fruits. We cook unripe papaya w/ coconut cream, or we put in our tinola (Chicken dish). We also pickled green papaya. This one is my favorite a medium ripe papaya, i sliced thinly and soaked them in vinegar, salt and a little sugar. Ripe Papaya can be into shake, can be eaten as it is. Some women like me also used as facial mask. Oh before i forget Papaya is also commercially produced for whitening soap. That is how useful and popular papaya is.

Papaya is good for health - I like papaya
In India we all know what is papaya and what are its benfits. The papaya is rich in vitamins. It is especially high in vitamins A, C, and E, and is rich in calcium, phosphorus, and iron. The papaya is high in digestive properties and has a direct tonic effect on the stomach. It is used in the treatment of stomach ulcers and fevers, and has a high mucus solvent action. The papaya retains its potency in high temperatures. Papaya also helpful to reduce weight.I don't like the smell somtimes, but over all It is good.
