How to let your father know you love him?

In some countries it is very easy to let another person know you love him/her by saying directly "I love you". but in my country it's not that easy because for many people they have never in their life said "I love you" to any other people because they are too shy to say that. they believe "better done than said". they would express their love to a person by doing things for him/her or buying him/her a present, even for lovers or couples, parents to kids or vice versa. they never say that all their life. Have you ever said that to your father?

in showing your real emotions, it not important to say him personally, it is much better if you make him feel you love him.. than saying it but not making him feel it.. ayt?! ^^

Just my case. Daddy is not a person that likes passionate stuff. Listen to his talk, watch sport or working home stuff with him... These acts make a father feel rewarded, and of course, know that his son cares for him a lot.

I never said " I love you "to my father, but I really love him. I am from China, and it is a country that is not easy to say " I love you" ( Though I said " I love you" to my mother) . I will buy some gift and give him some advice. when he was illed, I might buy some medicine for him or give him a massage to let him feel comfortable.
