Saving money is the hardest thing for me!

Hello, I think I also get the same problems with you, I have stable (low )income and constant(high expenditure), the money i earn is just enough for living, may be for food,transportation,paying bills,or some other daily needs, sometimes i even forget where i had spent the money at because money is spending at an incredible high rate which you do not even remember. Anyway,good luck and we should start save more now.:)

Saving money is very hard for me too, no matter how little we have. It's like a burns a whole in my pocket. We do pay all the bills fine but the extra money we have I usually spend it on different things. I have tried to be better but it's really hard because with each thing I want to buy I feel like I can't do without it.

Hi Augussta I certainly know what your saying.Lately I cant even save a penny.LOL I dont even have enough to pay the bills. Money is tight these day with us. I hope it gets better real soon. You have be stern when it come to saving. Even if its just a little bit put in an account for your daughter.

That's the same problem I've infact I was going to ask mylotter's to help me try findng a solution to save some good money. Because sometimes I get some and they're within the next day. Easy 888's advice was qutie good and natural. Thanks for all those who help her and those who do actually will help me too. :)

Same here Augustta, even if I stick to my plans that I won't buy this or that, I still can't save. Coz everytime I have little savings something crops up either someone in the family needs help or a friend. And even if they are not asking for help I would volunteer, before I know it everything's gone.

yeah, i think i have the same problem too! and just recently maybe last year, i managed to be able to save little by little. this started when i was renting a place and it's owned by a friend of mine. maybe out of shyness. it would really be embarassing not to be ablt to pay the rent on time and she does know well that i have a job, so, i was able to pay my rent in due time. and at this time, since i'm determined to have a wonderful summer, i've been saving up again. it may not be as much, but at least i'm making a lot of progress compared before! hope you would be able to find your motivation in saving up soon!

I have the same problem you are suffering from! i cant save a single dime, although i have a moderate stable income i just cant seem to save for a rainy day! Whenever i try to save some money something unexpected comes up or i get enticed to spend in something which i think is necessary! i guess i am to blame for it and no one else! I am sorry if you were looking for advice i cant give any cause i am still trying to figure out how to save myself :(

when I was single, I am a spender.. now that I am a mom, I see to it I save even a cent a day, just for the rainy day! :)

At least now you that, the only recourse for you to do is to generate incomes faster than your expenditures or hope to almighty you (whoever you felt will go with you) will be stranded somewhere where money is less of a necessity to live. Forget the latter, i guess we all suffer the same or something similar with regards to our management of monies. Certainly there are ways to aid this behavior but it just have to be something that fits well for you, one effective program for others doesn't mean effective for the next. It usually an effort together with love ones especially your spouse.

Hey augustta, I find it easy to save money, I see things in shops and I want to buy right there and then, but then I think of the bigger picture, building our holiday home, so thats how I can stay focused on saving. I see you've hit the 505, working it huh. You go girl lol.

yeah the same is the problem wit me gal .... thou i am a student and i don earn so much i really spend it like water i mean money never stay in my hand i am a big time spender.. its really hard for me to save money i mean i have never ever been able to make a gud big amount of saving .... always lose at the end of month ... almost all month end i am like an empty bucket.... waiting for the drop of water.....really cant do saving the hardest thing in world to do

I have the same problem!! I will save up a little and then my niece will Just have to have something because all the other girls have one lol or I see something I just have to have!

me too. My father cant save a cent,my mom always says i inherited from my dad. I 'm not living in a wealth family.but my parents give me a good living condition.now ,i'm an adult, i know saving money is very important but i cant control myself .i will try my best to give up the habit.

me too I have a hard time saving money. It's like when my paycheck comes after two weeks it's all gone.... and I didn't get to save a cent.. I try so hard yet to no avail... Guess have to practice self-discipline more =)

well i would love to be in this situation. unfortunately i have to fight, that i can pay all the bills and the food for my son every month. plus the dogs, who are always hungry lol. but i had this situation when i was able to work. the money slipped so fast through my hands sometimes, that i did ask me, what are you doing with the money. a lil bit here and a lil bit there. a certain look from the eyes from my girls and i couldnt resist lol.

don't have to worry girl.. you're definitely not alone. i myself could never save a money.. for a day or two perhaps but never for a week or a month. most of my money is spent on food, food, and food. i just can't help but eat.

I am amazed at myself too, it just shocks me how fast ican take a stack of money and turn it into change. Its just a habit I guess to go and spend it as soon as I get it, its a good thing i pay bills first or i'd probably be out on the street. I really think that sometimes this can cause horrible problems for families, so i save like 30 dollars a month into a savings account and don't touch it. I've been doing that since I was like 15 so i think theres like almost 1000$ in there now, its really cool.

I have the same thing. I myself was trying hard to save some money but I can't seem to save some. Every salary that I would get, I will save some money but sometimes things happened and I will spend that money that I have just kept. Some people say that it is best for me to keep my money in a bank so that I wouldn't use that money at all cost

At the past time,I had the same problem with you.When I go shopping,I can not control myself.But now,I am better than before.I have saved some money now.Because I reduce the times of shopping,and also when I have some money,I save it in bank,after long time,I have the habit to save money.

I totally agree with you. I myself is really having a hard time in saving money. I don't know why, I wanted to save but I just have so many things to buy I guess using my own money. And I'm still supported by my parents so I really don't have fear of not having money anymore that is why I guess I'm being so much dependent on the idea that my parents are there to give me some if my money will all be spent. But I still wanted to save though, I just don't know how to make sure that I can save some of my allowance because I really buy stuff alot.
