Do we really hav to go to church on sundays?

We are not really oblige to do so but we are invited. But actually its for the good of us, we should not only nourish our body but also our soul. Like our body we need food, water, and other matters. Same thing with our soul it needs prayer which is our oxygen.

are you sure that we are NOT relly obliged of going to Church every Sunday?!... hmmm... better think of that... based on the Bible, we, Catholic, should go to the Holy Eucharist for us to promote faith that we lack for the whole week and we all know that Sunday is God's rest day and Holy Eucharist is one of the most important ot should I say the MOST important sacrament of all... have nice day ahead, ritchel!... Ü

I believe so. It is an invitation, we are not forced to do so. I know its one of the precepts of the church. Do you like to go to church when your heart is wondering nowhere else? You are not really that fervent? I think it is better that you go there wholeheartedly and the more better that you don't miss it every Sunday especially.

Yes. I don’t know about the obliged thing but we should do it because we want to and not because we have to. If we can visit the mall for 5 hours straight and hang out with our friends for one whole day, why can’t we allocate just one hour of one day for Him? We at least owe Him that.

yes, for we really have to go to church on Sundays.. as we are so busy on weekdays, God also deserves time from us during weekends like Sunday.. if you have a very important thing to do that you really cant go to mass on Sunday then i guess you can hear mass on a saturday because some church have anticipated masses.. ;)

For me and for my family members, yes, we go to church on Sundays. It would take a long discussion, so I don't to explain it. But we make it a point that we hear mass Sunday morning, and our day is complete. It is the best time for the whole family to be together after a busy weekday. For us, the day is reserved for going to church and to bond with my family. Does your church require you to go to church on Saturdays?
