it is safe to give paypal your credit card information. i was worried to when i frist did it but i have had paypal for 2 years and i have never had a problem with them. they will take out like a 1 penny-10 cents from your credit card and then they will put it back. it just shows that you do have an active card. paypal is the safest way to do anything online. if you put your crdeit card info in there and you then buy something and the money is not in paypal paypal will go ahead and let you get it then take it out of the card that you use. this way you never have to put any information on a website. paypal is more secure. i love having paypal.

It is perfectly safe to submit your credit card details, then Paypal can verify your account. You need to be verified in order to make payments and received payments to your account. Don't worry Paypal is one of the safest sites here
